PRODUCTION
Throughout the years I have managed to build a successful electronic artist career as a DJ/producer under the name George Vala. I've released several remixes with EMI records and the Japanese supergroup, Tatami, and produced two of American Idol Songwriting Finalist Byron Zanos' albums.
I frequently collaborate with singers located in NYC and Boston. Last year I remixed the first single off Krysta Youngs' "Stories" album, a track called "Untold", as well as a traditional Japanese song for Douzan Yamamoto called "Utsuroiro", which was featured in the Shanghai Film Festival and plays on regular rotation in the Tokyo Midtown Project Museum. Other singers I have worked with include: Ines (LA), Glenda Landavoza (Boston), and Stacy Kimball (NYC).
Currently, I am in the process of starting my own dance music record label with partner/collaborator, Tamer Malki.
